The “Hope for Literacy” campaign seeks to empower children living amid poverty by enhancing their learning process through donation of eco-friendly pencils manufactured by MOMO pencils and mobilization of life – skills mentorship support from diverse experts. HANDING OVER A LIVING PLANET CAMPAIGN BY BILLION TREES
As Billion Trees Africa every year we engage primary and secondary schools together with communities living around them in tree planting activities. This is done in the school compounds and surrounding areas. We get the parents and elders to lead and guide the children in tree planting as a symbol of handing over a healthy planet to the next generation. The school children from then on are responsible for taking care of the seedlings until they finish school.

Our Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) mission seeks to promote a systemic change in social behavior across Africa through the inculcation of critical knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes to create a more prosperous and just society for all. People must learn to live together in a sustainable way irrespective of common diversities.
